Mid City Nissan / Subaru Mid City Nissan / Subaru was looking to relocate their existing facilities to a site with more prominent exposure and ease of access. A series of one-story warehouse buildings owned by Novak Construction provided an interesting opportunity. These low, monolithic brick buildings, having no distinguishing features of their own except for visibility from the Kennedy Expressway, were given complete facelifts to provide glassy and modern showroom space that would complement the brands they represented. Re-clad in metal and glass, the Subaru and Nissan showrooms were given distinct designs, color schemes and signage, yet work together to create a related composition. The shared service building and stock areas provided for economy in operation.
