Hotel Lincoln Located in the heart of Lincoln Park, the Hotel Lincoln has operated as a hotel under various names since 1920s. Centrum Properties purchased the hotel out of foreclosure, teaming up with Joie-de-Vivre (JDV) to create a modern, upscale and family friendly hotel. Working with JDV's interior designers, the lobby, common spaces and rooms have been given new finishes and furnishings. A new elevator is being added to provide accessible access to the penthouse and rooftop. The existing penthouse, formerly used as a suite, is being converted into a bar / lounge with a large landscaped roof deck to take advantage of the spectacular city, park and lake views. A folding "Nano Wall" separates the bar from the deck. In nice weather, it will be opened to provide a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor spaces. The hotel is schedule to re-open in the spring of 2012.
