Glenview Naval Air Station Proposal When the Village of Glenview took over the Glenview Naval Air Station, they developed a Master Plan for its future development. Each site of the Master Plan was submitted to development teams for concept designs and proposals. Hirsch Associates worked with Garret Michael Eakin on the development plan for a multi-family residential and retail site which stretched along the north edge of Gallery Park, connecting the new Metra Station with the Glen Town Center. Although not selected as the winning proposal (The plan came in as the runner-up to the plan which was ultimately built), the neo-traditional planning concept, with an arcing public green as it's centerpiece, received numerous design accolades.
