Howard prides himself on his involvement in successful residential and commercial developments. Howard has always attempted to expand his knowledge and capabilities by working on projects of all sizes, types and scales and sees the practice of architecture as a continuing education and learning process.

Howard is a registered architect in Illinois, Florida, Arizona, Wisconsin and Tennessee and is a member of the American Institute of Architects, the Association of Licensed Architects, the Home Builders Association of Greater Chicago and has NCARB certification. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture Degree from the University of Illinois, Urbana/Champaign and a Master of Architecture Degree from the University of Illinois, Chicago. Prior to founding Hirsch Associates, Howard was an Architect at Braun Skiba Ltd. of Chicago. When Braun Skiba merged with McClier Corp., Howard’s responsibilities included Project Design, Project Management, and ultimately Management of the Industrial Design Group.
