215 Hubbard Restaurant This design for 215 West Hubbard Street is a concept for a Pub/ Restaurant/ Banquet Facility on the vacant 13,000 sf lot in River North,. Located in an area considering landmark status, this design provides for a masonry and steel building which reflects the historic warehouse and office buildings in the neighborhood. Located where the "El" tracks curve towards the Loop, the east end of the building is set back and clad in a steel and glass curtain wall, providing a sidewalk dining plaza and rooftop deck. Stone arches, wood trellis, fabric awnings and sun shading complete the pedestrian scale and traditional detailing of the façade. The plan consists of a kitchen, dining and bar on the first level, large banquet facilities on the second level and a small banquet facility with access to a rooftop garden on the third level. Currently, the development team is searching for an operator for the Restaurant.
